Mike Capuzzi is a publisher, author and business coach. Are you looking to get to the next level in your business? Mike is your guy. Throughout his 25 years in marketing with 21 of those as a consultant, Mike's has consistently surpassed the expectations and outcomes of traditional marketing concepts for his clients.
This is the thing I’m most excited to tell you about, Mike. In 2019, he launched Bite Sized Books, a new publishing concept formula for creating short, helpful books (known as shooks). He originally set these up for the local Main Street business owners he saw struggling to get their customers to go online after they had left their brick-and-mortar shops. Shooks are ideal for local business owners who are looking to increase their level of authority, while also providing helpful information in bite sized books. (see more here: https://bitesizedbooks.com/
Mike is also the host of The Main Street Author Podcast where he interviews business owners and book experts on real-world, proven ways to leverage a book to position yourself and promote your business. After this interview I recommend you check out the programs and testimonials of SHOOKs and how they work for business owners at MikeCapuzzi.com, and if you think you would make a great guest (one that has written and published at least one printed book), visit MikeCapuzzi.com/guest to introduce yourself!

We are joined today by Jimmy Trapp, an illustrator with a large catalogue of completed works. When he was young, his parents always encouraged him to make things his own. This is often seen in his work, which takes influence from many other artists but adds Jimmy’s own touch. A lot of his art is targeted towards children, but he also aims to include a little something extra for parents to enjoy. Jimmy has recently started a comic strip titled Scare Care. In this episode, he shares what his inspiration is for Scare Care and what long-term goals he hopes to achieve with it. Right now, Jimmy is gauging the comic’s reception to determine if he should commit more time to children’s books or comic books.
